The social development program runs culture night every week, language workshops (Bakwam'kala) every Monday, and Naman's Noke' every other Wednesday night which is funded by the Community Action Initiative. As well, we host Elder's tea every other Monday. Recently, we hosted a two-day harm reduction conference which opened dialogue to reducing barriers and address the ongoing opioid crisis in British Columbia. During the summer months, the program also runs a B.C. Language Initiative camp for families, parents and children to reconnect to the land, learn their culture and language. We also go on Tribal Canoe Journeys during the middle of the summer, which also reconnects our people to their culture.
